ROY D. OPPENHEIM
As co-founder and Senior Vice President of Weston Title, Roy Oppenheim is involved with every aspect of the company from reviewing titles to troubleshooting potential closing problems. Weston Title and Escrow has been Broward County’s local title company since 1994 and has closed billions of dollars in realestate transactions in both lucrative and challenging real estate conditions.
Roy Oppenheim offers timely, strategic, and educated guidance in Florida real estate transactions. He is also a real estate attorney and co-owner of Oppenheim Law Firm. Oppenheim is heavily involved in public affairs and has served on the board of directors of various civic-minded organizations. He frequently lectures and writes about the real estate market in both his real estate law blog and monthly foreclosure workshops.
Most recently, Oppenheim is involved with the direct selling industry as outside special counsel to ShopToEarn, one of the fastest growing direct sales companies in the country. He is also a founding director of the ShopToEarth Foundation and ShopToEarn’s representative to the Direct Selling Association trade group located in Washington, DC.
Oppenheim graduated from the Northwestern University Law School in 1986 where he served on the Editorial Board of its Law Review and graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 1982 and is currently a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar.
ELLEN PILELSKY
Ms. Pilelsky is President and co-founder of Weston Title. She is involved with reviewing every title policy before it's issueance. Ms. Pilelsky, besides being a mother of three, is also a co-founder of the law firm of Oppenheim Pilelsky, P.A. Ms. Pilelsky graduated from Boston University summa cum laude with distinction, and is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law where she was on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International Law and Business.
