How To Help Hurricane Dorian Survivors In The Bahamas

Dear Friends:

Here, in South Florida, we were fortunate to escape the wrath and fury of Hurricane Dorian. However, our neighbors in the Bahamas suffered unbelievable losses.

Our firm is joining forces with The Rotary Club of Weston (of which Roy Oppenheim has been affiliated for the past three decades) in the collection of nonperishable supplies for the Bahamas in the aftermath of the storm.
While the following is not exhaustive, you can donate items such as:

•Supplies:

Candles, Batteries, Toilet Paper, Soap & Shampoo, Sunscreen, Toothbrush/Toothpaste, Diapers—both Adult and Infant, Paper products: cups, plates, plastic utensils, baby wipes, baby formula, and toiletries

• Nonperishable Food Items:

Canned tuna, spam, ham, sardines, chicken, pasta, pasta sauce, soups, rice, grits, oats, flour, canned fruit and vegetables, beans, peanut butter, teabags, crackers, jelly, dry cereal, sugar, ramen noodles, juices.

Here are the drop off-locations:

• SpareZ Bowling – 5325 S University Dr, Davie / 9:00am to 1:00am, seven days a week
